Kokoshkino settlement is a settlement ( municipality and administrative unit ) within the Novomoskovsk administrative district of Moscow . It became part of the capital on July 1, 2012 during the implementation of the project to expand the city . Until July 1, 2012 - a city ​​settlement in the Naro-Fominsky municipal district of the Moscow region.

Originally formed in 2005, it included the holiday village of Kokoshkino and 2 more settlements later than the abolished Marushkinsky rural district.

The administrative center is the suburban village Kokoshkino
